maxon motor was the seventh company in Switzerland to be awarded ISO 9001 certification in 1988, and was successfully recertified according to the ISO 9001:2000 process model in 2006. maxon’s dental division has been meeting the ISO 13485 medical standard since June 2007.
maxon motor’s quality management system is a constant work-in-progress: certification in accordance with ISO 13485 for maxon medical and the implementation of automotive norm TS16949 are in preparation.
