maxon motor works with customers to develop intelligent gearhead and drive solutions that reflect the market as closely as possible - from simple gearhead solutions to complex mechatronic drive units. Customer specifications are quickly recorded and assembled using modern 3D modelling systems. State-of-the-art electronic simulation tools are the basis for controls that direct the motors in the optimum way.
Most of the components used are manufactured internally. This guarantees that we are involved as closely as possible in production processes. maxon motor also uses new manufacturing methods, such as ceramic and metal injection molding, to produce small series on a low-cost basis. We use various measuring and testing procedures to guarantee top quality. Only by coming up with a complete solution under all kinds of ambient conditions can the system be used under client-specified and often very demanding conditions.
