外交團隊來訪麥柯昇
Sachseln/OW. – The annual excursion of the international Ambassadors this year leads to maxon motor ag in Sachseln. The company is a worldwide leader in drive systems and has amongst others equipped the NASA Mars Rover with electro motors. The Ambassadors had the opportunity to visit the company and to have a close look on the production facilities. The Diplomatic Corps was accompanied by The President of the Swiss Confederation Mr. Pascal Couchepin and the Foreign Minister Mrs. Micheline Calmy-Rey,
“We are all very honoured about this visit” says Jürgen Mayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors at maxon motor ag, representing the company that is present in all world markets.
Karl-Walter Braun, Principle Shareholder of the company says “As a globalised, innovative and cosmopolitan company we typify exactly the opposite of what is generally expected from central Switzerland.”
The spokesman for the President of the Swiss Confederation Jean-Marc Crevoisier stated that the President wants to show our guests, besides other things, the contrast an the coexistence between traditional and modern values in Switzerland.
The whole Diplomatic Corps annually undertakes an excursion by invitation of the officeholders Federal Presidents. During this excursion a Swiss company will be visited.
